Hot days, cool mutts.
A cool-touch mat your dog will actually lie on. Gel-free, machine washable, and made for long Australian summers.

Dogs can’t sweat. Summer’s long.
Dogs cool down mostly by panting and by finding a cool spot to lie on. On a 35° day, that spot is hard to find, which is why yours ends up on the bathroom tiles.
Coolmutt gives them a cool spot that goes where they go: the living room, the crate, the back seat.
What’s inside the mat

- 1
Ice-silk top
Feels cool to the touch and draws heat away from your dog where they lie.
- 2
Quilted padding
Soft enough to stretch out on all afternoon.
- 3
Breathable mesh underside
Lets heat pass down into a cooler floor instead of building up under your dog.
The honest bit
It’s a cool-touch mat, not an ice pack. It feels cool when your dog lies down and warms up slowly with their body heat, then cools again when they shift. It works best on a hard floor, in the shade, with a breeze or fan.
Made for the dogs who feel the heat most

Big, fluffy breeds
Huskies, shepherds, goldens and other double coats that run hot all summer.

Older dogs
A soft, quiet cool spot for senior dogs who struggle in the heat.

Done with gel mats
No gel to leak, go mouldy, crack or crinkle, and nothing to puncture.

Out and about
Light and foldable for the car, the crate, the patio or the café.
How it compares to a gel mat
Gel mats can feel colder. Fabric mats are easier to live with. Here’s the honest side by side, so you can choose what suits your dog.

Coolmutt fabric mat
- Can’t leak, there’s no gel inside
- Machine washable, cold and gentle
- Quiet, soft fabric
- Cool to the touch, not icy
- Folds flat for the car

Typical gel mat
- Can leak if chewed or punctured
- Usually wipe-clean only
- Can crinkle when your dog moves
- Usually feels colder at first
- Bulkier to fold and carry

Good questions
Still unsure? Email us and a real person will reply within a day.
Does it need the fridge or freezer?
No. The fabric feels cool to the touch on its own. You can pop it in the fridge for a few minutes on a scorcher, but you don’t need to.
Is it waterproof?
No. It’s a breathable fabric mat, so liquid can soak through. If your dog has accidents, put a waterproof layer underneath.
Will it fade in the sun?
Strong direct sun can fade the colour over time. It also works better in the shade, so keep it there and dry it in the shade too.
Can my dog chew it?
It isn’t chew-proof. There’s no gel inside to leak, but determined chewers can damage the fabric, so supervise puppies.
How long does shipping take?
Usually 7–14 business days, with tracking. Shipping is free Australia-wide.
Where’s my order?
You’ll get a tracking link by email when your order ships. You can also track your order here with your order number and email.
